WELCOME

Santa Maria School has opened its doors to the city of Mundelein and the surrounding communities for over fifty years.  Our parish and school name is Italian and was given by George Cardinal Mundelein in honor of his designated church in Rome.  We are committed to and known for a tradition of excellent academic achievement that is grounded in the Gospel values of Jesus Christ.  Affirming the uniqueness of each child, we strive to promote the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development of each student, in the context of an accepting and nurturing community.  We seek out what is new and beneficial to the students we teach and retain those traditions that have served us well.  We hold sacred our partnership with parents, the primary educators for their children.  Some of our former students can now be found among our teaching staff, parents, and volunteers.  We are a dedicated, joyful community that welcomes the tasks, opportunities, and challenges of both the present and the future.

Open the doors of this web site and let us share with you ---- Santa Maria School.
